Certain hormone therapies and surgeries have the potential to impact your ability to use your own sperm or eggs in the future to have a baby. We believe that all transgender people should have information about their fertility and the opportunity to preserve their fertility prior to transitioning.

  • In general, transgender male patients or a non-binary person assigned female at birth can choose to undergo testing available to people with eggs and/or a uterus. Transgender female patients or a non-binary person assigned male at birth can choose to undergo testing available to people with producing sperm.
